The African American museum was my fifth site to visit. The sites I went to look at was the segregation in the 1950’s, the doll exhibit, and the Underground Railroad. This museum had one of my favorite African American painting on display.

This documentary film was about the life of the Shawnee Native Americans who fought for their land from the foreign invaders. The Shawnee leader was Tecumseh, who had strong leadership skills to not give up to fight off the invaders trying to take over their lands.

This web article is about how the British wanted to control the borders of Connecticut to transform the lands to claim all the resources. It has information about how the Native Americans were had to retreat to the West to give up their land to the British but many of them fought for it. It took thirty years for settlers and investors to fight out the British to claim victory.

This museum was my second site to visit. The sites I went to visit were the Kettering Education Building, NewCome Tavern, and Locost Grove Schoolhouse. There are many more sites describing the history of Dayton.

This museum was my third site to visit. The site I went to look at was learning about the Arnold family standard of living during the Eighteenth century. There were multiple buildings to walk through to observe how to produce homemade products, make quilts, plow the fields, and to care for livestock animals.
